There was no electricity for 3 additional hours on Sunday due to a blackout – no electricity for more than 7 hours that day . Work gets affectly badly but do the concerned persons really care?
When I was working on NTPC, Simhadri power plant many years ago, the chief minister of the state wanted it to be commissioned before the general elections in 2 years time. So the engineers working on the project tried to complete the project fast. When I gone to NTPC, Noida for drawing approval, I was told this is urgent, so we are sitting late (otherwise they packup at 5.30 pm). Simhadri is near the Orissa Andhra Pradesh border, in a remote area with jungles and no major industries. Here,in Mumbai, we are facing loadshedding almost daily for 2 years now, and nothing much is being done about it.
